Ticket Exchanges

Subscriber Ticket Exchanges

Subscribers may exchange any UW World Series ticket for any other UW World Series ticket. For example, if you are a World Dance Series subscriber, you may exchange your ticket for the same event on a different evening. Or you may swap your ticket for a performance by a different group in the Dance Series. Or you may exchange your ticket for a ticket to any performance in the President’s Piano, International Chamber Music, or World Music & Theatre Series. This exchange privilege makes your subscription much more flexible, should you have an unexpected conflict come up during the season.

There are several restrictions to remember:

  • Only full-series subscribers qualify for this benefit. This benefit is not available to single-ticket or sampler buyers.
    Exchanges are always subject to availability.
  • You must return the tickets you want to exchange to the UW Arts Ticket Office at least 24 hours before the scheduled performance.
  • You will not be charged an exchange fee. However, if you exchange into an event with a higher priced ticket, you will be charged the difference in price.
  • If you exchange into an event with a less expensive ticket, you will not receive a refund or credit for the difference in ticket price.
  • There is no limit to the number of exchanges you are allowed to make. However, if you exchange into a lower-priced event, but decide later to exchange back into a higher-priced event, you will be charged the difference in the ticket price.

To Complete an Exchange

You must return the tickets you want to exchange to the UW Arts Ticket Office at least 24 hours before the scheduled performance. You may return your tickets by mail or in person.

We will also accept voided copies of your tickets by email or fax. If you e-mail or fax your voided tickets, please be sure to include your name, address, phone number, and instructions detailing what performance you want in exchange.

Single-Ticket Exchanges

Exchanges on single tickets will be assessed a $2 processing fee and are made only for a different performance by the same artist or company. Please return tickets to the UW Arts Ticket Office by mail or in person at least 24 hours prior to your current ticket’s performance. Sorry, we cannot give refunds.
