Subscriber Ticket Exchanges
Subscribers may exchange their tickets for any other UWWS performance, subject to availability at least 24 hours prior to the performance being exchanged. If the new tickets are less expensive than the exchanged tickets, the difference in price is not refunded. If the new tickets are more expensive than the exchanged tickets, the subscriber must pay the difference in price. No exchange fee is charged.
There is no limit to the number of exchanges a subscriber can make. However, if you exchange to a lower-priced show, but decide later to exchange back into a higher-priced show, you must pay the cost of the upgrade.
To exchange tickets, please contact the UW Arts Ticket Office by phone or write “void” across the face of your tickets and return them to the Ticket Office by mail, fax, e-mail or in person. Please include your name, phone number, and the event and performance date you would like to exchange into, along with a credit card number and expiration date if exchanging into a show of higher value.
Single-Ticket Exchanges
Exchanges on single tickets may be completed by phone, mail, fax, or in person at the UW Arts Ticket Office at least 24 hours prior to the performance being exchanged. Paid single tickets will be subject to a $10-per-ticket exchange fee, plus any upgrade fees that may apply. If new tickets are less expensive than the exchanged tickets, the difference in price is not refunded. Free youth tickets may be exchanged between President’s Piano and International Chamber Music Series when an accompanying adult ticket is also exchanged. Tickets may not be exchanged into gift certificates. There are no ticket exchanges for Auction tickets.
Ticket Replacements
Lost tickets? No problem. Just call the UW Arts Ticket Office in advance of the performance and replacement tickets will be ready for you at Will Call.
Donating Your Tickets
Tickets may be donated for a tax-deductible receipt. Write “VOID” across the face of your tickets and return them to the UW Arts Ticket Office by mail, fax, e-mail, or in person prior to your performance.
Handling Fees
Subscription orders and Group Discounts are charged an $8.00 handling fee per order. Single tickets will be assessed a $3-per-ticket processing fee on mail, fax, phone, and web orders. There is no single ticket processing fee when tickets are ordered with a subscription or purchased at the UW Arts Ticket Office window. Exchanged single tickets will be subject to a $10-per-ticket exchange fee, plus any upgrade fees that may apply.
Refunds
Due to the nature of live performance, all programs and performers are subject to change. Tickets are non-refundable except in cases of canceled events.
Children
Children under the age of five will not be admitted to UW World Series performances, except for specific age-appropriate children’s events.
Cell Phones, Cameras, and Other Electronic Devices
Please turn off these devices before performances. Because of contractual obligations with our artists, the use of photographic recording equipment is prohibited. Flash cameras can be disruptive and dangerous to some artists.
Smoking Policy
Smoking is not permitted on the University of Washington campus.
Late Arrival
Out of respect for the artists and seated patrons, late seating to UW World Series events may be limited. Late arrivals will be escorted into the theater at appropriate intervals, to be determined by the artists and theater personnel.
