Each year the UW World Series reaches over ten thousand children and adults with a wide-ranging approach to reaching the greater region through our Community Connections programs. From Free Student Matinees, K-12 residencies with visiting artists at underserved schools, community concerts and workshops and many more unique events each season—Community Connections is about removing barriers to engaging in art for students of any age.
Our mission with Community Connections is to provide unique opportunities to engage with art and performance regardless of means.
Want to help us with these events?
The easiest way you can help with this important work is by donating to the UW World Series.
However, one of the most valuable gifts you can give is the gift of time. You can help by volunteering in our education department. The education department often needs help driving artists to residencies, organizing workshops and more. Contact firstname.lastname@example.org for more information.
We love to receive your feedback about our outreach programs—if you have an idea or an experience you’d like to share with us, please send an email to email@example.com.
