“Inspired, terrifically potent playing.” —The Baltimore Sun
The Ritz Chamber Players is hailed by The Baltimore Sun as “one of the most interesting and dynamic ensembles to emerge in recent years.” The group’s flexible structure of instrumentation allows for astonishing combinations of virtuoso players and rising stars, creating riveting and dynamic performances of chamber music repertoire. We first presented the Ritz in 2008 and enthusiastically welcome them back. The program includes the world premiere performance of Night Visions of Kippur, a work written by composer James Lee III and commissioned for the Ritz to play here on our Series.
