The New York-based Jack Quartet, one of the globe’s most exciting new music ensembles, presents an evening of two distinct concerts of composed and improvised music performed by the quartet, along with visiting artists from the internationally acclaimed Six Tones Ensemble, and School of Music faculty Richard Karpen, Juan Pampin, Cuong Vu, and Ted Poor.

Program highlights include the world premiere of a new work by Juan Pampin, School of Music composition faculty and director of the Center for Digital Arts and Experimental Media; and a new work by School of Music Director Richard Karpen, performed by the JACK Quartet and musicians from the Six Tones—Thanh Thuy and Ngo Tra My from Hanoi, Vietnam, and Stefan Östersjö from Malmo, Sweden.
