
In her Seattle debut, 25-year-old Georgian pianist Khatia Buniatishvili brings her electrifying temperament and technique to the President’s Piano Series. Prize-winner of the 2008 Arthur Rubinstein International Piano Master Competition, Khatia was distinguished as a BBC New Generation Artist in 2009 and nominated for the Vienna Musikverein’s European “Rising Star” award. Now appearing with many of the world’s finest orchestras, she is known for her breathtaking virtuosity, mesmerizing stage presence, and musical depth, which have transfixed international concert audiences.
